For 23 years, the Western Maryland Bluesfest was a rich part of the history of downtown Hagerstown, Maryland bringing world renowned acts like Joe Bonamassa, John Lee Hooker Jr., The Derek Trucks Band, Trombone Shorty, Moreland & Arbuckle, and so many more! It brought tens of thousands of people, both local and far, to our historic downtown to celebrate the love of music, art, and community. After the dust settled on the last Bluesfest in 2018, the city felt a giant hole in our arts community. As business newcomers to the city, we at Hub City Brewery heard time and time again how much guests missed the legendary Western Maryland Blues Fest. With 3 acres downtown and a deep love for music, we thought "Who else is better suited to revive this amazing festival?" With nothing but passion and a lot of overtime, Hub City Brewery co-owner, Jake Blackmon, and favorite regular and music ifficianato, Zane Taulton, got to work and are so proud to announce the return of our city's legendary music festival. Your support is SO VERY appreciated and we can't wait to boogie together!
